![]() ![]() A few of you may be guided by some incredibly useful people who, like me, may not have had somebody to be helped by, so they want you to have somebody. Nevertheless, you need to be able to survive on a planet. Whilst a few players may disagree with my three tips, they're fairly important as you need a base to store resources and without a Scanner, you're not leaving this planet for a long, long time. Whlist I'm no expert on the game, I've my own tips to give to a new player on Subnautica. The Seaglide is the best transportation and is the easiest to make. They are found in two states - in a box or just lying there. To get the Seaglide, you need to find its fragments. ![]() You need the Scanner for this, so make sure you have it first. Thirdly, and most importantly, you need to obtain the Seaglide. Whilst some are better than others, don't be afraid to gobble down that innocent fish. Most fish that you can grab can supply you with food. These are obtained by using a knife to collet samples from the coral tubes everywhere in the Safe Shallows. It proviews +40 to Water and +0 to Food, but it requires Coral Samples. Bleach, on the other hand, is much better. They make Filtered Water which gives +20 to Water and +0 to Food. They're the only fish that can be made into water alone - no extra fishy bits included. Secondly, you must be willing to murder the local wildlife to survive. Without the Seamoth, you're going to have difficulty reaching further locations, such as the Aurora. This is essential as it provides you with a submarine and a Mobile Vehicle Bay to craft it with. When you have the scanner, you need to receive a distress signal from Ozzy's lifepod (Lifepod 17) as it has the Seamoth Bay. It's simple and it's the most essential item in the game. ![]() But what when those days end? Well, you need to survive.įirstly, craft a Scanner. It gives you some small, goals that'll suffice for a few days in the game. Luckily, your trusty Personal Data Assistant, or PDA, is here. With no clear goal, you have to make a plan. You crashland on Planet 4546B, a planet that has been discovered but almost never explored. I'm proud to announce that Orcz is receiving it's first Subnautica Wikipedia. Currently editing this by myself, I intend to help those seeking help. What do you do? What will happen to you? Will you survive? Luckily for you, I'm here to help. So, you've crash landed on an alien oceanworld. ![]()
